Plenty Vaporizer

The Plenty Vaporizer from Storz & Bickel is a unique take on whip-style desktop vaporizers. Instead of a silicone whip, the Plenty is equipped with a high-quality stainless steel cooling coil to deliver your vapor and ensure a fantastic aromatic experience. Storz & Bickel gave the Plenty precise temperature adjustment from 266 °F to 395 °F to let you explore your material to the fullest; the temperature is displayed on an analog thermometer. The Plenty is one of the most unique looking desktop vaporizers ever produced and delivers quality vapor that satisfies flavor-centric users and cloud chasers.

Hybrid Heating from the Plenty Vaporizer

The Plenty incorporates several cutting-edge thermal engineering features, enhancing the vaporization experience. The stainless steel whip effectively cools vapor as it passes from the Plenty's heating chamber to the user, which prevents hot air from masking delicate aromas. Storz & Bickel used the hybrid convection-conduction style heating system to ensure that your sessions are full of flavor even when the clouds are dense. The double helix heat exchanger ensures efficient air heating and high-yield vaporization from the Plenty consistently through your sessions.

Unmatched Quality

The Plenty is hand-crafted in Germany by Storz & Bickel, the makers of the Volcano Vaporizer, and is constructed of top quality materials for first-rate durability and functionality. First-class design and manufacturing ensure excellent quality and functionality. The Plenty Vaporizer is silent and lightweight: 0.7 kg (1.5 lbs), dimensions 15.5 x 22.5 x 5.5cm, (plus power cord). Product characteristics are guaranteed by Storz & Bickel for 3 years. Only food-safe and aroma-free materials are used.

How To Use The Plenty Vaporizer

The Plenty's vapor quality is similar to the Volcano: dense, aromatic, and pure. The Plenty's effective vapor production system makes for an enjoyable experience without the learning curve or multitude of components found in other vaporizers. Simply load your blends in Plenty's filling chamber, select your desired temperature on the Temperature Adjustment Wheel, engage the heater, and enjoy high quality vapor. When your temperature is reached, a red light on the front will turn off with a click. After some time, it will turn off the heat and start cooling off, but you can activate it again by giving the handle another squeeze.

How do I use the Plenty Vaporizer?

– Once Plenty Vaporizer reaches the required temperature, its heater switches off and starts to cool down. In order to prevent it and maintain the same temperature, hold the “trigger” on the handle pressed throughout the whole session. – If you want to place your vaporizer in a vertical position, put the brush included in the set into the hole located at the bottom, beside the temperature knob. Your Plenty will stay in a vertical position and won’t fall down. – To get the thickest vapor possible, take long and slow draws. The more vapor goes through the herbs, the more vapor will be produced.

What is the Best Grind Level for the Plenty?

Medium grind is best, you want maximum surface area, yet not so fine as to escape through the holes in the screens.

Why do I need to let my Plenty preheat? How do I know when it’s good to start vaping?

You’ll need to wait 2-3 minutes before the heating element heats up to allow for vaporization. You’ll notice when you first turn on the heater, the orange light illuminates, indicating the heating element is on and warming up. When it reaches the optimal temperature, which you set with the dial, the orange light is going to turn off. The orange light going off indicates that the system has reached the proper temperature, and is ready to use! As you squeeze the handle on your Plenty, the orange light might flicker intermittently as the thermostatically controlled heater occasionally kicks on to keep the Plenty at the temperature you set.

Why is there no vapor when I first draw from the Plenty?

When you load the filling chamber, you are often putting room temperature aromatic blends into a room temperature filling chamber. As the Plenty forces warm air over and through your blends, they absorb this heat until they themselves reach the point of vaporization. So when you first turn on the forced air, it will take a short period for the chamber and blends to heat up.

What determines the vapor quality coming out of the Plenty?

You can vary the vapor quality the Plenty produces quite easily. Grinding your blends finer will create more surface area, allowing more blend to vaporizer at once. Adjusting the temperature can also have an effect, as higher temperatures will allow more vapor to be released at once. Use only the optimal temperature for your blend. Use caution as you increase your temperature, only increase a few degrees at a time until you achieve your perfect result.

Is the Plenty compatible with liquids and concentrates?

With the use of the included Liquid Pad combined with the wide temperature range of the Plenty, it is able to be used with liquids and concentrates.

What is the point of the Plenty's Liquid Pad?

The Plenty comes with a Liquid Pad, which serves two purposes. First, it allows you to use a wide range of aromatic liquids and concentrates in your Plenty. Simply insert the Liquid Pad into the Filling Chamber, and apply your concentrates or liquids, then use your Plenty as normal. Users have reported that higher temperatures work well with liquids and concentrates, so start with your normal temperature, and go up incrementally from there until you find your desired vapor quality. Secondly, since the Plenty is a hand-held unit when in use, the filling chamber does not remain flat, such as the Volcano does. As a result, of the filling chamber in the Plenty is not full, the blends could move around a bit and settle, allowing the warm air to pass right by your blends without heating them sufficiently. Using the Liquid Pad with smaller amounts of blends will prevent this from happening.

How do I use the Plenty Liquid Pads?

Using the Liquid Pad is simple. Place the Liquid Pad into your Filling Chamber, then drip or apply your liquids or concentrates to the pad. Then, simply use Plenty as you normally would. Users have reported that higher temperatures work best with liquids and concentrates, we recommend starting at your normal temperatures and working your way up until you find the perfect temperature for you liquids or concentrates.

Will the Plenty work with a 240v power supply?

vapor.com only carries the North American 110v Version at this time. For a 240v version, please contact Storz & Bickel directly.

What is the Plenty Vaporizer heating element made from?

The Plenty’s heating element is made from ceramic-clad aluminum.

Will Plenty over-heat my blends?

The Plenty is capable of temperatures as high as ~420°F (214°C), so its important that you know what temperature your particular blend is requiring. The temperature dial on the Plenty is accurate, so as long as you are at the right set temperature for your blend, you should never have a problem. If you do find that your blend is being overheated, turn the temperature down a bit, wait two minutes for the Plenty to adjust, and try again.

How full should the Plenty Vaporizer's heating chamber be?

You can put any amount you wish into the heating chamber, although owners have reported that larger amounts create a more enjoyable experience. If you load a smaller amount, it is vital that you use the included Liquid Pad. As the Plenty is a hand held device, a lightly-filled heating chamber will allow the blends to move around as the Plenty is moved, allowing the warm air to travel around the blends, as opposed to through them. When using a small amount, spread it evenly, then place the Liquid Pad on top of it, sandwiching the blend between the bottom screen and the Liquid Pad. Now use as you normally would.

How often should I stir my bowl when using the Plenty Vaporizer?

The Plenty has a wide heating chamber that allows for maximum contact with passing warm air, and should not need stirring. However, we will leave this up to your preference. If you feel that you need to stir your blend, please do.

Does the aluminum heat exchanger on the Plenty emit any substances which are subsequently absorbed by the user?

No. the top temperature reached in the heat exchanger 464°F (240°C) is by far below the temperature that is needed to emit any substances out of the aluminum alloy Al-Mg-Si, melting point 1220°F (660°C); boiling point 4566°F (2519°C) used by us.

Is it okay to leave the power to the Plenty on all the time so its always ready?

The Plenty has an auto-shutoff feature that will turn the heater off after it achieves it set temperature. Engaging the handle will cause the heater to turn back on and remain at the set temperature as long as the handle is occasionally squeezed. As a general safety rule, do not leave the Plenty unattended while powered on.

Does the Plenty have an auto-shutoff feature?

The Plenty is equipped with a temperature safety regulator. When the auto off release handle is first activated and the set temperature is reached, the heating process is terminated and the heater is turned off. If the auto off release handle is pressed while the Plenty is held in the hand during operation, then the set temperature level will be automatically retained. Once the temperature of the heat exchanger cools off, an automatic reheating will not occur; instead the cooling process continues until the orange auto off release handle is pressed again. The Plenty is brought back to life by the orange trigger inside the handle. Simply grabbing the handle is enough to disable standby mode and re-engage the heater.

What size Screens does the Plenty use?

Plenty’s Screens come in one size, but two different grades, normal and fine.

Do I need to set the temperature on the Plenty each time I turn it on?

Nope, the Plenty has a manual temperature dial, so it always remembers the last temperature you used. Verify with each use that it is set correctly. A manual dial can be accidentally moved.

How do I care for my Plenty?

Always unplug the vaporizer from the electrical outlet and allow to cool COMPLETELY before cleaning, 30 minutes should be sufficient. Always make sure your vaporizer is COMPLETELY dry before plugging it back in. This will result in the best performance, and not cause any unnecessary stress on the machine. Make certain it is packaged well during transport. If you didn’t purchase an Elite carrying case…keep the original box and Styrofoam! It should last you until you pick up your own hard or soft case.

How do I clean my spare Plenty Vaporizer parts?

How often do I need to clean my spare parts?

Inspecting your parts periodically will help to make the parts last longer and the machine perform at its best. Use the included cleaning brush regularly to help keep you parts free of debris between more thorough cleanings.

Am I able to clean the grinder that came with my Plenty with isopropyl alcohol?
