How To Clean & Maintain The Mighty Vaporizer

Storz & Bickel knows in order for users to have a better vaping experience, cleaning is important. So they designed the Mighty easy to clean. Some maintenance after each session will help keep your vaporizer from smoking materials building up.

A main indicator that it’s time to clean your Mighty vaporizer is if you feel the airflow restricting or if you brush the top screen and the residue doesn’t come off are two signs you might need to fully clean your vaporizer. A few steps you can take to get the cleaning process started is:

 

  • Gather cleaning supplies like isopropyl alcohol, cotton swabs and a cup.
  • Take apart the Mighty vaporizer.
  • Clean the cooling unit pieces in your cleaning solution for 10 minutes and rinse them in hot water after.
  • To clean the oven, dip a cotton swab into alcohol and swab the oven (make sure no liquid drips into the heating element).
  • Once you've dried off and reassembled your Mighty Vaporizer, crank up the temperature all the way up so it can clear any alcohol. Then, let it cool down and it’s ready for your next session!

The Mighty is covered by a 2-year warranty. In the event of any defect you are recommended to send the complete device back to Storz & Bickel with all parts. If the defect has occurred on the grounds of a material or construction error within the warranty period, they will eliminate the defect free of charge. If the defect was caused by you, e.g. because you dropped your vaporizer, they will send you an estimate for the repair and will do the repair as soon as you have agreed to accept their estimate.

How do I use the Mighty?
The Mighty is self explanatory and very simple to use. When the temperature is set by the plus/minus keys, the device is ready to use. The temperature can be adjusted gradually during vaporization.

What is the best grind level for the Mighty?
Medium to fine grind is best. You want maximum surface area, yet not so fine as to escape through the holes in the screens.

Why do I need to let my Might preheat? How do I know what it's good to start vaping?
When the set vaporization temperature is reached, it is signaled through a short double-vibration and the LED- screen will show the temperature reached.

Do I need to set the temperature on the Mighty each time I turn it on?
Yes, you have complete control over what temperature you set the unit at by using the plus and minus keys, and temperature is displayed on the LED.

What is the temperature range oft the Mighty?
You can set the Mighty’s temperature anywhere from 40°C – 210°C (104°F – 410°F).

What determines the vapor quality in the Mighty?
The grind level, adjusting the temperature and your draw rate will all play a role on the quality of the Mighty.

Is the Mighty compatible with liquids and/or concentrates?
The Mighty is designed for aromatic blends, but it does come with a liquid pad that you can use with liquids and concentrates.

Can I change the Mighty's temperature setting from Celsius to Fahrenehit?
Yes! To change the Mighty’s temperature setting from Celsius to Fahrenheit and vice versa, press and hold the + and – buttons simultaneously.

Will the Mighty work with a 240v power supply?
vapor.com only carries the North American 110v Version at this time. For a 240v version, please contact Storz & Bickel directly.

Can the Mighty be used while plugged in?
Yes, you can even use the Mighty right away while plugged in. You do not have to wait for it to charge some before using.

What is the difference between the Mighty and Crafty?
The Mighty is larger than the Crafty and almost twice the weight, has dual lithium ion batteries and has an LED display. There is a free Crafty Remote Control App that you can use on your smart phone that lets you set the basic and booster temperature and other settings of your Crafty according to your preferences. The mighty also has two internal Li-Ion batteries, the Crafty has one.

Will the Mighty over-heat my blends?
With proper use, the Mighty will not overheat your blends.

How full should the heating chamber be?
To achieve best vapor quality, it is recommended to fill the chamber completely. However, smaller amounts will have no difficulty at all. Use the included liquid pad to occupy any voids created by very small amounts.

Is there an auto-shutoff on the Mighty?
Yes, 1 minute after the last action was taken, the Mighty will shut off. A short press of the On/Off switch will reset the one minute while the unit is on. As a general safety rule, do not leave the Mighty unattended while powered on.

Does the Mighty use screens?
Yes, and it comes with 3 spare screens.

Is it okay to leave the power to the Mighty on all the time so it is always ready?
There is a 1 minute shut-off after the last action was taken. A short press of the On/Off switch will reset the one minute while the unit is on.

How should I care for my Mighty?
Always unplug the vaporizer from the electrical outlet and allow to cool COMPLETELY before cleaning, 30 minutes should be sufficient. Always make sure your vaporizer is COMPLETELY dry before plugging it back in to charge. Do not attempt any internal or external repairs to your unit as doing so may cause fatal injury – or worse – void your warranty! (Please contact us if you feel something is wrong with your vaporizer.) Keep your spare parts clean. This will result in the best performance, and not cause any unnecessary stress on the machine. Like any high-tech equipment, you should handle your Mighty with care. Make certain it is packaged well during transport.

How do I clean the Mighty's spare parts?
Isopropyl alcohol will work best to clean the screens and areas with built up residue. The included brush will also help clean out the heating chamber.

How often do I need to clean my Mighty spare parts?
You should clean the spare parts when they get dirty. Look specifically at the upper screens and stainless steel areas that collect buildup. Inspecting your parts periodically will help to make the parts last longer and the machine perform at its best. Use the included cleaning brush regularly to help keep you parts free of debris between more thorough cleanings.

What kind of cleaning tools work best with the Mighty?
Use the included brush for dry cleanings, and isopropyl alcohol for more thorough cleanings.
